I. Automatic regime

A. Putting into motion of the door is done by means of a button in 3 possible positions:

1. Pressed Upword arrow – the door opens to uppermost position where it stops. Releasing of the pressed button results in stopping the movement of the door regardless of its position.

2. Pressed Downword arrow – the door closes to lowermost position where it stops. Releasing of the pressed button results in stopping the movement of the door regardless of its position.

B. Putting into motion of the door is done by means of a selecting key in 3 possible positions:

1. Key turned to the left – the door opens to uppermost position where it stops. Turning the key back to a vertical position results in stopping the movement of the door regardless of its position.

2. Key turned to the right – the door closes to lowermost position where it stops. Turning the key back to a vertical position results in stopping the movement of the door regardless of its position.

C. Putting into motion of the door is carried out by means of a remote control button.

1. Pressing once the button when the door is shut – the door opens.

2. Second pressing of the button – the door stops moving.

3. Third pressing of the button – the door gets closed again.

4. Pressing only once the remote control button when the door is shut – the door opens to uppermost position and stops.

5. Pressing only once the remote control button when the door is open – the door gets closed to lowermost position and stops.

II. Manual /break-down/ regime

A break-down regime with a manual control of the door is forseen for cases of an electricity cut.
1. Winding the lower part of the handle at the cable end releases the brake which is locking the engine.
2. The door is opened or closed manually.
3. Unwinding of the handle again results in locking the door.
NOTE: Do not operate the door automatically when the break-down regime is in use. This shortens the engine’s working length of time and the door remains unlocked during this time.

ІІІ. Possible problems and remedies

№

PROBLEM

REASON

REMEDY

1.

The door can not be driven automatically

Lack of power supply

Check the safety locks and/or the feeding cable

2.

The door is vibrating when in lowermost position

Break-down (manual) regime is activated

Unwind the break-down regime handle

3.

The door can not be driven manually

The handle is disconnected from the cable

Connect the handle with the end of the cable

Turn to a specialized maintenance team in all other occasions of technical problems.

CONDENSATION on the WINDOWS
Condensation on the insulating glass and window-frames from the side of the premises

Usually condensation happens on the surface of the insulating glass and window-frames from the inner side of the premises. The window becomes wet and dull. This should be distinguished from the condensation on the inner side of the insulating panel /when the condensation is between the 2 glasses inside the insulating panel, it is defective and you have to consult a specialist/.
Water vapor is constantly liberated on the residential premises:

- Breathed out air by one person: daily 1 to 2 liters
- Cooking: daily up to 2 liters for a 4-member family
- Bathing, watering the flowers, washing etc.: daily up to 3 liters for a 4-member family

The condensation appears on the edge of the window glass as it is the coldest section of the house. The wide sills and the frames can also hamper the movement of the air current, so that the moisture can appear on the bottom part of the glass earlier than on its middle part.
Condensation might appear on not heated premises as well. The reason is the gradual cooling of the place during the night and the saturation of the air with water vapor from the breathing at a comparatively low temperature.
Condensation can appear not only on the windows but also on all cold places in the house. This results in spots of mould on the walls.
Observing some rules might reduce or eliminate the condensation.

1. Air regularly the premises with condensation. But this should not be done by letting the fresh air inside for a long period of time /opening an inlet valve/.

2. Air through a widely opened window – this saves energy and prevents the appearance of condensation and mould. Switch the heating off and open the windows wide for about 5-10 minutes, so that the saturated with water vapors air gets changed with fresh colder air. Repeat this procedure 3-4 times a day.

3. Special attention should be paid to the premises with an exposure to the north because in winter they get cooler more quickly that the ones, looking to the south. It’s best to keep temepartures 170– 180 C.

4. Maintain lowest possible temperature differences between the various premises in the house.

5. It is recommended to air the premises in the morning for at least 20 minutes and after closing the windows, to switch the heating on and not to turn it off till the next airing of the rooms.

6. Condensation can be avoided and through a change in direction of the movement of the warm air current.

7. The lack of a heating appliance favours the appearance of condensation and mould.

8. We recommend, if possible, not to turn the heating on and off and to keep up comparatively equal temperatures during the twenty-four-hour periods.
